Excellent sales service & most importantly after-sales service

It has been a good 3 months since we completed our almost-seamless renovation and settled down at our new place. A few months before we confirmed our renovation ID, we went through an intensive search and quotation comparisons to get the most value for our hard-earned money (like everyone else). We finally engaged Melissa Quah from Home Planner.  We have seen her on RenoAid on TV and social media before and hence had high expectations. During our first meeting, we had vague ideas about what concepts we wanted for our new home and randomly threw her concepts like "maybe modern", "somewhat Scandinavian" or "perhaps contemporary". We spent a couple of hours on our 1st meeting and shared that we have 2 kids who love colours and we wanted lots of cabinets while keeping everything spacious. 

Melissa coolly told us to leave the conceptualization to her.  Within 2 weeks, she sent us the draft 3D drawings which met our expectations and the tri-colour wardrobes for our kids were really lovely.  Here comes the thrill... we ordered Victorian styled furniture spontaneously after a visit to a nice French furniture shop in Joo Chiat and quickly updated Melissa.  She was cool and replied "Oh, you bought Victorian furniture" and shortly after she sent us her amended 3D drawings which surprisingly met our criteria of modern and contemporary while complementing our Victorian furniture.  Throughout the entire reno process, we met several times and she came across as time-efficient (don't waste time), straightforward and sincere.  Not once did she ever tried to up-sell, cross-sell or add items.  I appreciate her Go Extra Mile spirit when she suggested space-saving concepts for my master room to incorporate a study, vanity and wardrobe area which was really creative but we declined as I already ordered my long-time dream Victorian-styled dressing table.  She accommodated each and every requests that we threw to her and we managed to keep within our budget. Everything went well minus a few hiccups from the carpenters (seriously I have no complaints as Melissa always sprung to action whenever we WhatsApp-ed her).

After moving in since last Oct, there was absolutely no requirement for any after-sales service for our reno and carpentry. UNTIL my dream Victorian dressing table mirror top miraculously cracked on 7 Feb, midnight!!!  The furniture shop lady boss declined to offer any repairs/replacement and asked me to look for glass makers on my own!!! SERIOUSLY?!!! WHAT SERVICE LEVEL IS THAT?!!! See my attached pic of the cracked dressing table

The only person that came to my mind was Melissa, the RENO WONDERWOMAN!  I whatsapped her on 8 Feb and she coolly (as usual) assured me that she will ask her contractor if they can repair the dresser for me. She went beyond my expectations and appeared at my place on 8 Feb, evening and took pictures of my dressing table.  She really went the EXTRA EXTRA MILE when there was absolutely no obligations from her since my dressing table was not part of our reno job.  This is my BEST BEST BEST experience ever with a service provider. I am sharing some pics of my sweet home (pardon the mini mess as we have inhabited the place for 3 months).
