Prettibride 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2007 I am asking cos my less than a year old stove black out on me last sat. I was boiling water with it halfway and suddenly a loud pop came from it. It tripped the power supply for my house and ceased to function thereafter. The technician came and gave a stupid reason saying that my cabinet is blocking ventilation for the hob...but the thing is, the ventilation for the hob is at the side and there is no way the cabinet would not block it unless the wood you use is very thin.. which is impossible! Just wanna see if anyone has the same problem or has methods to counter the "ventilation" problem.
