My parent house using it, flame is high and efficient, better than my cuizino.For Hood, I think any reputable brand will do. This is the model that i bought. Cheapest in Poh Joo..RB2CG - Ceran Glass - Make in JapanRH90CD - High Suction at 925+/hrbut more ex than cuizano..
