Loo Jia Jie 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2017 Hi everyone, I will be getting married with a non citizen some time next year and I am looking forward to buy a flat on my own in near future. My only option is probably to buy a resale flat. I also hope to ballot in a BTO when my spouse gets her SPR in time to come. I would like to askl, if I were to buy a resale flat without taking any grant at all, are we considered first timer or second time in the BTO after my spouse gets her SPR? The reason why I ask is because I have heard that if you do not take any grant for the resale flat, you may be considered as a first timer in the next BTO.
