Green Wall/facade, anybody?

was thinking of having a green wall/façade in my back yard.

not those kind that you buy commercially and they install for u in modules/pots..

but those that you grow yourself..

its just an idea at the moment.. maybe grow some form of creeper plants like money plant or ivy etc, on a wire mesh on the wall.

 

anybody has prior experience or tips?
