Is it pointless to use 5 ticks Air con

Hi,

I went to aircon shop. One of the salesman point out that is pointless to purchase 5 ticks aircon because 2 ticks aircon have higher cooling capacity and able to cool down the room faster and better electric saving then 5 ticks due to 5 ticks aircon take longer time to cool the room. So what you guys think is true?

Are you referring to Starmex?

I wanted to install the 5 ticks starmex and was advised 2 ticks is good enough.

Regardless, I insisted on 5 ticks and was then told it is out of stock.

I checked with Mitsubishi and true enough, new stocks are expected in October.

Another supplier told me their current 5 ticks have technical issues.

Mitsubishi refused to acknowledge and they also cannot explain why they ran out of 5 ticks.

So far, all the starmex distributors I visited tell me to install 2 ticks whenever I say I want 5 ticks.
