Hi fellow 3 roomer! Your layout very nice!! Bomb shelter in kitchen, long kitchen, long living room which allows you to build a 'partition' like in your 3D. All the best for reno!

And the renovation journey begins!

May 17.

Collected keys, ID checked and submitted my defect list,

  • chipped wooden door
  • 2 X hollow tiles
  • 1 x window lock mechanism not working

My ID was surprised as well that HDB skirting are now hollows. no wonder knock the whole house also hollow.:o

Defect list submmited on friday, coming monday i received a call from them, FIXED LIAO! thats fast haha maybe cause i was the first few to collect keys in my block.

My renovation started on the third week of may, after applying for permit to hack walls.

in the mean time i went to the gain city BTO fair.

bought the following. did a quick search on lazada before i buy, if cheaper then buy, if not may as well buy on lazada.-_-

LG 9kg Front load $82X/ lazada $888

3 Ticks water saving* i think

LG fridge Top mount 438L

Sigh, no choice house small, would love to get those with water dispenser as well.

$95X/ lazada $988

REGRET NOT BUYING THE LG TV!

I didn't believe the salesman when he told me it's the cheapest. even IT/electronic fair also wont sell at this price.

Why i didnt take was because they didn't give any free soundbar like Samsung. only FOC blue ray player and 3 months netflix.

During the next few weeks of roaming around fairs and roadshow i came to the conculsion indeed, the BTO fair was the hceapest deal T.T

Chanced upon the LG road show at marina square. the same tv was going for 1499 instead of 1399 @ BTO fair.

poke poke the salesman if he can match the BTO fair price. he say if i take now he will offer that price. YESSSSSSS

Bought the 49UJ750 series.

Do note, Lazda is selling the UJ6 series for $1368. mine was 7 series, 8 series is the best la but only from 55" onwards.
