Commendable ID/Reno Contractor

Did renovations from an ID/renovation contractor firm year 2013 back (company name hint: u***** c*******). They promised 8 years warranty in black and white. When one of the small wood plank on the door fell off in around 2014, the ID that we hired was no longer with the company and directed us to seek assistance from the boss back then: Mr Vince Low. They delivered what they promised and fixed it accordingly. Prompt service and they were polite to us. No delay, no pushing. This year, the glass door in the bathroom was falling off, we contacted Vince. However, he had already left the company and had set up his own so we have to go back to u***** c*******.

As the management had changed, this time led by a guy called Desmond(?). They were extremely rude to my mother when she was seeking their assistance through phone call and whatsapp. They refused to provide their warranty service. They failed their promise big time. There was alot of ding dong here and there. The glass bath door was falling off and they were still reluctant to get their staff to come down to, at least, have a good look at the issue. They were blaming on us although the fix was simple. Long story short. The issue was delayed multiple days and we even thought of offering to pay to fix. Vince learned about our plight and offered to help us to fix. We were surprised since we are no longer his customers. He really did came and fix it properly (It has been one month since then, no problem). And he also did a check on the glass door in the other bathroom and "touch up abit". He refused any payment although we offered and just smiled and said, "just recommend us to the other people", same like what he said back in 2014.
