Ah Beng ID HAHAHA

This is the 3rd time in my life that i need to move house, downgrade from 5room to 3room. The last time i renovated my 5rooms flat was 10 years ago.  My wife and i decided to dropby ID expo fair.

Nothing catch my eyes other then the pretty "Sales designer".

walk in to 4-5 booths, going tru the same thing, same layout, same Salestalk. all 5 say almost the same thing, as me to place a deposit so they can proceed with the 3D drawing. come on, this is like the 3rdtimes im do renovation, of course i know what this mean.  dont feel good at all with this type of hard selling. Guess what, after the expo fair, no 1 call up for follow up. like no 1 from this 5 company. hahahaha  joke.

i start to dig back my old name card holder, trying to find my x ID. but no luck. come on , is like 10 years ago, maybe the company already closed down. Friends and family start to intro me all they ID, Girl Boy Women Man of all ages, but this guy from this ID intro by my friend which i engage his service really impress me, their quote is not the cheapest we found but they are of market rate. Is the professionalism, commitment and warmth made us lean towards him and decided to choose him as our ID. The very 1st impression when we 1st meet up, "Wow Ah Beng" , Maybe the way he present himself la. but the moment we start to discuss on the renovation item/check list, he give u a totally diff feel.  he go through area by area, item by item, and share with us lots and lots of renovation knowledge for like 4-5 hours.

Eg. how tiler lay tiles, how they mix the raw material, what to look out for. from tiling works to carpentry work, he share all the small small detail. (this is the 3rd time i doing renovation, but u can tell that, he is some1 who know what he is doing, and he know his works well.)

im in the mid of renovation now. when i free, let me share some of the on going pic with you guys

hahaha ID on the market now really give us surprises, sometimes they look surprising young like hipster and some like totally ah beng. 
I don't mind my ID to be ah beng tho, sometimes i just think that they could do more work than those with their sleeves up and never even touch their hand on my house and called them my ID.  How long did you do for your renovation ?
