Contractors & Ids At Tanjong Katong Complex

Recommended Posts

To get quotation from contractors, it will good to tell them all you want 1st, so that you can get the most items quoted, From there, decide if to take out and change.

I went to see one at Serangoon interhchange, another in City Plaza. Hope to get the quotation soon.

hihi so did u go to acton design at city plaza ???

So, how do we start the ball row with contractor? Draw our design 1st then tell them what we want?

For us we already have a rough idea of our design then later slowly slowly we start to tell him our idea (from the living hall then to room/kitchen/etc)... then also the material (the type of flooring) we wan to use then later a few days later we got the quote from him already.....

Yup, he a nice guy, the design of my kitchen was one of the typical type which he showed me his drawing on one of his project. This definitely make us easier to talk. :dunno:

Me using Ken - Home Trend.

Ken - Home Trend. Is it at Tanjong Katong or City Plaza?

Hmmm my hubby n me felt that our contractor is quite good le... pple been telling us we are renovating so many thing then our reno cost counted as not so "expensive" type. Then when we went to source for our lighting/basin/aircon/etc.. he actually called us to go outisde n see then later tell him then he will see wether he can get it cheap or not then turn out all cheaper than we found one ..(even when we went to hoe kee he did that too, he buy the thing for us on his behalf n he got discount too... althot pple been saying that he sure got comm one but we were thinking sinic he can get it cheaper than what we find then its still okie to let him earn comm lor...) Even went we told him we dunno where to buy those designer switch. he even offer to buy for us ... (my fren was saying the price he quoted us is cheaper by what she saw ...)

kekeee my contractor is acton design lor... if u wan the no. u pm me then i will reply u okie....

Hi Doreamon,

Stumbled across Jeffery's shop, btw his shop is at City Plaze, in Apr 09 and chatted him up for a quotation since I am looking towards renovating my resale flat soon. Seems a nice and sincere guy. Very prompt with his quotation.

How is Acton Design's workmanship?

How is his carpentry work (kitchen cabinet, feature wall etc)?

I am also thinking of engaging him to do my reno.
