Need Advise On 4 Rm Resale Reno Quote

Hi everybody, need some advise on the quotation that I got from my designer. I'm doing up a 4 RM resale and the quotation is way above my budget of $25K.

Besides reducing carpentry works, where else can I save money on? Am I over quoted for any of the items?

I did some research and it seems that the lamination and re-wiring is on the high side. Do you guys agree?

Also, anyone have any idea what is the cost for these 2 items?

4 All permit fees to HDB, MOE, Pub & management deposit if any By owner

5 All submission fees to relevant authority pertaining to renovation works approval By owner

Overall their hacking is still ok. but make sure that all will be make in good finish after hacking is done.

make sure that all the debris will be clear off by the contractor. if not HDB will charge u. This happen to one of mine neighbour. They make a big fuss out of it.

From the overall quotes take a look on the capentry side and hacking. This two will be the most expensive and it already took about half of it already. So it u can minimize the carepentry work and hacking then u will save quite a lot on it.
