Contractor for overall or work direct with individual

I just got the keys to my new apartment and do not intend to do any renovation. However, I need an electrician to do wiring and light installation works, as well as someone to do up the curtains. I am thinking of just buying furniture rather than getting customised cabinets. As I am always flying around, I thought it might be good to just liaise with a contractor who can help to coordinate. 

Are such works too minor to engage a contractor? Usually how much would their services cost?

Any good contractor/electrician/curtain specialist to recommend?

Hi,

My electrician are pretty good. I just tell him what to do and just pass him pad lock key he do it on his own.
You can check if he can install curtain rack for you as well. Or you buy ask him install for you??

I paid less than 1k for my electrical works, including install 3 ceiling fan, lights, add sockets etc.

Hi, my contractor helped us buy lights and install. Actually we asked someone else to quote for curtains but turned out his price is cheaper. Curtains not installed yet as still doing renos.
