Changes to decor of condo unit before TOP

Hi. I am buying a condo unit for the first time and it is due to TOP is 7-8 months. My unit bedrooms come with built-in wardrobe. I don't want these. Can I tell them not to build these in the first place so I don't need to hack? Do I go through the lawyers or the straight to the developer?

Write in thru your lawyer to " not install the wardrobe shown in attached floorplan".

it's up to the developer whether they will attend to your special request. They do not have the obligation to do so. Larger projects usually no. Smaller projects maybe.
