Christianwelch 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2017 Hello Keroline, Granite is an igneous rock. An entryway with granite floor tiles displays a certain regal elegance. Because of it's physical qualities, granite is quite durable - resistant to heat, stains, and sudden drops of heavy objects. Granite floor tiles are a practical luxurious investment for our home. These are some of the ways to maintain granite stone flooring: 1. Inspect the edges and grout 2. Wipe up all spills immediately 3.Using a soft mop or cloth, clean floors with a bucket filled warm water and a mild detergent or natural stone cleaner. These are the things that you should avoid: 1.Conventional floor cleaning products – you’re better off using special marble cleaners or granite cleaners. 2.Ceramic tile cleaners, as these can dull the marble. 3.Anything that’s either very acid or very alkaline. 4.Rough cloths, like wire scouring pads. 5.Vacuum cleaners, as the wheels and hoses can scratch the materials. I hope the information will be useful for you.

You can usually maintain your granite tiles by using something called HCL89. I usually get it from http://hcl89.byethost10.com or http://hcl89.atwebpages.com What it does is that it removes any stains as well as cleans your granite tiles. It also helps to create a protection for it so that your granite tiles always remains new. Hope this helps you out
