starryz 1 Report post Posted December 21, 2016 Hi, anyone know if it is ok to have toilet behind fridge? Separated by a wall behind, directly is the toilet bowl too. Thanks thanks!
bepgof 20 Report post Posted December 23, 2016 Lately my HDB block underwent HIP and the 2 toilets in each of the 96 units could not be used for 10 days. Meaning wee wee/poo poo/washing....have to go void deck...some rich ones moved out and stayed elsewhere temporary. Only then, all neighbors discussed about toilets and also appreciated the importance of toilets. Toilets are great! So long as they are near to you! Conclusion. Sorry for tardy response. LUP/HIP......, etc appear very confusing terms to me, not mentioning the requirements. I guess flats must be 'old enough' before collapsing like 'new world hotel' did.... Singapore is democratic enough, majority (herding??) sure win, need to vote. My case: HIP to my unit is actually a downgrading, however, in consideration of the 'toilet ceiling-spalling concrete' issue and convenience to my top & down neighbors, I opted yes, simply by paying some $1,296.00 (if recalled correctly) + 10 days inconvenience. PRs need paying 100% - $12,960.00 Interesting to know that if one opts 'No', then upstair neighbor LL- can't opt yes, democratic?
