Is a must for ID company to register under HDB?

Hi Everyone, 

Need some opinion from you all. Recently found an ID company (A.. D.. S..), those renovate work provided from the company look great from and quite number of positive comment from the customers. But couldn't find the company name under HDB contractor registered list. My question is, is that a must register from HDB for an ID company?

to be on the safe ID, i would only engage those who are HDB registered, if you are up for adventure i guess its ok for you sign up with non hdb registered ID at your own risk
