Help! Half height partition

I am In dilemma of how high should i build A half height partition facing main door. The main door is direct facing the window, and there's a sharp corner outside our main door.

Behind the half height partition is dining table. Should the half height partition be sufficient to cover the people dining? Was adviced 1.05mtr high, as told that main door has Qi and not advisable that the half height partition to be too high. 

 

Maybe is my imagination, 1.05 mtr is just nice at the "neck" of diner. Will this looks like a "chopping" head? In other words, from main door, you will see a head on top of the partition.

I am facing the similar issue.   

door - wall - dining. 

I wonder how the wall / partition should be...
