Jason J 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2016 I am wondering if I can cut the cost till 40k if i engage a contractor myself?
kangeroo168 10 Report post Posted December 1, 2016 because ur house involves hacking and demolishing, you would need a RRC, or registered renovation contractor. and the RRC will do all the wet works. the most u can do is, u coordinate the carpentry works yourself. that might save a bit. but for ur house to bring down to 40k, is a bit difficult. maybe 43-44k, as u dont provide a floorplan. anyway, pm u a contact, u can ask for more info from him. Difficult to cut to 40k as your quote from ID is not too high to start with. Maybe can cut down to 43k if go the contractor route.
