love the masterbed room tiles!!! so nice!

Thanks! :D as its v dark, we have to keep our master bedroom colours light for a contrast! lets hope we can achieve that

Edited: husband say that since its e bedroom, wall colour can afford to be darker for better sleep and atmosphere.. ;)

Did a quick check today.

New storeroom entrance kerb done, storeroom floor also tiled

IMG20170210115044.jpg

Cupboard base done

IMG20170210115049.jpg

Kitchen cabinets base done

IMG20170209131259.jpg

Hole in blacony wall patched with lightweight cement

IMG20170210115127.jpg

Washing machine base done

IMG20170209131027.jpg

One thing good abt being a kapo and going up everyday is that can spot things immediately and get them fixed. :D

On day 3 i went up and saw that there was a kerb in between my service yard and kitchen. I remember id telling me that it cld be flat so i asked id. Id told me that cos service yard was higher than kitchen so kerb is there to bridge e height difference. I was fine with his explaination and thought ok lo. Next hr i went back to pass id the window grille And went to talk to tiler i realised kerb is gone! Tiler told me that he can do a small step for me which was much nicer! So pleased!

The kerb before discussion

IMG20170209114608.jpg

The end result-just a small step and tiler did a nice job matching the tile lines

IMG20170210115202.jpg

And id/tiler managed to get black floor traps for the two toilets..score!

Old storeroom doorway sealed up.. kitchen not so big anymore

IMG20170211111746.jpg

our wooden tiles being laid! i was pretty worried whether would it go with the marble floor and is pretty pleased that though there is a contrast, the colour tone is still similar..

IMG20170211111809.jpg

couldnt take many pictures as the men were still dismantling some electrical stuff.

ID also said plastering will take place next tuesday and arranged for us to meet his electrical guy next week.:D

Hi Fifteenmay,

Have you decided on the window grille yet for your balcony? It is a good idea to keep your balcony open and use it for vertical gardening, exercising, relaxing, etc. You can even use your balcony top for meals or drinks while enjoying cool evening breeze there. I have even installed a hammock in the balcony. Here I would like to share how I use my balcony.

I have installed a pot belly grille which allows me to use it mainly for gardening.

The balcony wall top can be used as a tabletop for meals and drinks or as a standing desk for work. I use a foldable ladder high stool for this purpose.

Also rather pleased with an and b's follow up. I mention to them during quotation time that i wanted to install a water machine in my kitchen. AN and b told me that when the time comes, they will follow up with me and they really did! B called me today to ask on how the model works and the specs. Good follow up skills an and b!
