tessafaer 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2016 Hey fellas....... :-D I'm completely new here. I live in Toronto with my family. And here my question goes. As a birthday gift for my son, I gifted him a cat which is of Persian breed. He is pretty cute. But that's not exactly my concern is. I got the home security system installed in my home by the Protection Plus Security Solutions Company. At that time I had no idea that I'll be buying any pet so I never asked them about animal-friendly motion sensors. I never knew what is it all about? Do I need to call them again and make them install the animal-friendly motion sensors or it is juz an inbuilt feature of all home alarm security systems? Any ideas? mark3739 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2016 you will need to buy those "pet friendly" motion sensors. This is a built-in feature from the sensory itself, not from the security alarm panel. since you are from Canada, I know this Canadian brand, DSC security alarm, is quite reliable, and they have "pet friendly" motion sensor (for up to 30kg pet immune, if I remember it correctly)
