Handrail support for hdb multi-steps at main door

Hi,

Are we allowed to build a handrail support at a HDB unit with multi-steps outside the main door?  Please share your experience, thanks.

Thanks sunnyscandi, but mine is different from yours.  There isn't a wall at either side for me to install the grab bar as shown in your picture.

@NinjaJ I have seen it before being done. I know of people who had HDB put it in together with the ramp and other modifications for a fee, under the EASE program.
