skywater 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2016 Hi guys, I need help here. My water heater switch (Clipsal) is not working. After taking out the switch cover, I am hit with a situation. As the switch is too big, I cannot locate the screw to unscrew the whole thing and replace with a new one. Can someone advise how to take out the old switch? Pelect 3 Report post Posted October 13, 2016 Do you mean you want to remove the 20A cover to expose the screws? If so, just tilt and pull it out. Could I ask how do you know the switch is not working? P.S. Don't forget to switch off the circuit breakers when doing electrical work.
skywater 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2016 Yes, I tried to tilt it and the cover came off. it did not light up when I press on. And after playing it for a while, if I press the on hard enough, the led light came on.
lawry 3 Report post Posted November 8, 2016 I replaced the whole thing before myself, the plug name was MK. You have to pull out the whole white button, there should be a screw below. Let me see if my thread is still around.
