Ideas On Customised Bar Counter With Display Cabinet?

If budget allow, I was thinking of having a bar counter with full height display cabinet that can display my liquors and store my shoes at the entrance way.. serving as a partition between the entrance and my living room.

The bar counter will be a place for my hubby and I to sit and chat over drinks or meals..

I am doing one. But mine can only sit 2 persons....din intend to do an elaborate one...just a tabletop with legs, bar stools, and some decor....getting those stuff from Ikea....costs us abt 400+ only compared to letting our ID do the job....was quoted abt 1.5k to do the counters with wine display shelvings....

I have the same idea as well but so far have not been able to find any suitable ones... we are still searching for 1 ourselves

i think ur bar counter should be placed at the area between living and dinning room more suitable ....

chilling out near the main door? eh..sounds abit strange... hehe

cos I am going to place pool table in my dining room.. so will need extra space to play there.

I was thinking of having a display cabinet at the entrance to place my liquours.. den an idea struck - better to have a cabinet serving 3-in-1: shoe rack, bar counter and cabinet at the entrance

I got all my stuff from IKEA....DIY one...very simple one....but mine don't have display cabinets....only a countertop.....can check out the pic in my blog
