Hollow homogenous tile - acceptable?

Recommended Posts

I told my ID that there's some hollow sounds when I tested my homogenous tiles with a coin and sent her following video. She replied "The hollow sound is from a a small part of the tile. This will happen to homogenous tiles due to mortar shrinkage. If there is any loose tiles or the whole tile is hollow then it will be a problem."

I later told her that's not what I read in the BCA standards and she mentioned "Kindly note that according to BCA standard, this applies to ceramic, marble and granite flooring only."

Any renovation experts here? What say you? Will this be an issue for our home in the future?  Furniture is moved in so I'm in a tight spot
