happywolfie 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2008 Am looking at building a platform outdoors on my balcony, and bamboo is being considered, provided it can provide quality for its price. I'm interested to know how much it costs per square foot too, thanks!
Rosicky 4 Report post Posted October 15, 2008 I am interested in bamboo floor too, for my 3 bedrooms which are currently laid with parquet. Reason of changed being the wood quality and workmanship of the parquet is very bad... some of the teak strips have holes while others chipped off, also the colouring have faded. Anyway - what is the pricing like, anyone can share? - Can it be overlay over the current parquet? Or remove the parquet better? Pros and Cons?
alan26 2 Report post Posted October 17, 2008 I send them my floor plan of a 4 room flat Quotation for just living room and 3 bedroom cost $10K (fainted)
owm 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2008 Contrary to what people might think, bamboo flooring is a premium floor product and it is laborious to install. It looks natural, is extremely durable and feels better than laminate and parquet. Would love to install it but my apartment came with new parquet flooring so decided to save on unnecessary reno cost. I send them my floor plan of a 4 room flat Quotation for just living room and 3 bedroom cost $10K (fainted)
