pongy 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 Hi pple, I have a couple of questions regarding HDB & Cpf rules and regulations.. hope someone can help to enlighten me.. 1) If we set the loan period (with HDB) to 30 yrs now, are we allow to change to 25yrs, 20yrs etc later on? and also if i change to 25yrs next time then can change back to 30yrs? How is the flexibility like? 2) As for the issue of mthly installment, are we able to have partical deductions from cpf (even if your cpf can fuuly paid for the installment) and the rest comes from cash? Or can we pay HDB thru cpf (completed deductions) and top up with cash to min the interest. How is the flexibility like? Hey sake-sushi, U staying at which block and unit? Can i go ur hse "ding dong" and see the unit? haha

So its recommended to go for full loan peiod first, then if CPF got access funds, then arrange for lump sum payment. (normally 5 - 10k) 2) think they will deduct everything from your CPF account, since its a HDB loan you are getting. At any time, if you have cash in hand, together with the access money in CPF Ordinary account, can arrange for payment to HDB and they will reduce the interest accordingly. I'm fed-up with the indians playing hide and seek, plus "paper ball" throwing at blk 91 void decks. they are not small children, grown up and still so childish... sometimes, when i walk home from the MSCP, saw one of them hiding sheepishly behind one pillar, like potential crooks... Anyone can advise, who should i effectively complain to? I rech home quite late, and the police post will be closed by then...

HOME2BE 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 Hey, thanks for the information! Btw, these indians only play at blk 91, why? They are there until late at nite? Thats scary if a lady walks home late at nite alone... The guys play balla at Blk91, the gals dance at the blk91A. So ideally, blk91 is their best choice. Blk89 too many targets around. As for Blk90, you can see mainly the folks which is nearer to the playground with families + kids. Are they still playing? Did not see them recently after i made a complain to the TC. sohzai 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2008 Hi all! I am new here..uber new with my first post..hehe.. Anyway, just booked a unit 346 yesterday. Am very happy about it, though at the same time, worried that HDB does not approve the loan amount that we are requesting. Used the financial calculator from HDB website to calculate, loan eligibilty is about 330k but not sure how much they will approve. You guys have experience with this? Even with loaning 330k over 30 years, the figure we have to pay every month still requires us to top up cash on top of our cpf installments. No choice, we are still quite young, still have little cpf contributions to pay for installments. My main concern is that they would approve the loan on a much lesser figure when they see that our cpf can only provide 2/3 of the monthly installments. Anyone here who might have similar experience? -worried sick
zirhk3355 1 Report post Posted May 16, 2008 You need to take a loan of $330K?? You really got to manage your finances and be very confident that you will get more income (and stable income too!) before you commit to this, esp you need to pay cash too. Hi Zirhk, Thanks for concern! I understand your viewpoint. Income should be fairly stable, targeted to be rising by abit after 2 years.

The Guru 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2008 (edited) I dont see any signs being put up by TC to "educate" them... Playing Risk board games and dancing is ok... as long they are not noisy and dont create nuisance... Playing hide and seek and Hamtam Bola is way too much...
