Cool thanks! I guess the ID will liaise with the HDB/Town council right?

When we get the keys, it is best to tell HDB that which room we want to screed. Else it will take a long time. I don't think ID will liase with the HDB.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Also anyone knows about Reno work permit fees?

I think its 200 plus that the ID/contractor will apply before he can start work.

And my ID included something for Professional Qualified Engineer fees for endorsement of hacking of walls.... this is paid by us but wondered what was the price like for such fees

Not sure bout this

*Disclaimer: For the above information, Please correct me if I am wrong ^^

TYM, were u there at United on Sunday afternoon around 4 plus to 5?

Ya, was there yes'd to discuss about the space planning and the first quotation.

Still have not decided whether or not to go with United as we still waiting for another quotation from another ID.

Will only decide when we got our keys and physically see the place.

Otherwise, will most probably not source for anymore ID, tiring to go thru the same process and again.

Hi, does this mean that we do need to go with the supposed supplier? My ID included haulage into the quote.

Also, does anyone know what is the price to ask HDB to so the cement screeds?

thanks.

When the ID includes haulage it means he had already catered for the costs. From what I know usually the ID will engaged the appointed supplier/contractor at our block - supposed to be cheaper this way, instead of bringing in the sand and skid themselves?

I checked with the officer at HDB when I was applying for cement screeding today, he told me reno permit is $283.50 for my 5-rm flat. Saw him checking a list, so I supposed its different prices for different flat sizes...

Not sure about the fees for PE, though...

Hi neighbours

From what I have gathered, the PE fee comsists of an admin fee and comission for the particular engineer hired.

Therefore it'll varies according to individual firm.

That's no good, this means that the ID can mark up without us noticing.

Unless the ID is willing to show us the original receipt from the PE...then again, even if he shows us the actual amount, he can still get comm from the PE...

hello guys

i paid $400 for PE to endorse the hacking. the fee depends on how intensive the hacking is... haulage fee is $950 for 4room flat. this includes sand and bringing all the materials up to unit and throwing away of debris also.

for hacking, i paid $1600 to my ID to hack away all the walls. however, the hacking was done by the same group of people that do the haulage :bangwall:

In total you mean you paid $2k to hack all the walls ($1600 + $400)? Haulage cannot add together because that includes the sand for the flooring also...

Hi everyone! I got the letter from HDB to ask us to apply for the HDB loan. Looks like we can only get the key in June after all the loan is approved.

They asked us to submit income documents. :dunno: I thought we had already submitted when we signed the lease of agreement... confused. :D

I will call HDB to clarify tomorrow.
