kangeroo168 10 Report post Posted July 29, 2016 some taps can turn on hot and cold water. example, taps in hotels. thus, that tap will need 2 pipes (one to hot, one to cold). for ur contractor to quote 'cold only', it means that they will only supply material and connect the cold pipe. if ur tap is connected to the heater and can run hot water, then extra piping has to be installed to link the hot water to ur tap, and it will be more expensive.
