Query: Can I change the location of my HDB main door?

Hi everyone, 

Can I ask a favour of those who have done up their renovation of their HDB flats.

I'm looking to buy a resale flat but would like to change the location of the main door. 

I have attached the floor plan, as you can see the red area is where I would prefer my main door to be.

Does anyone have an experience of HDB approving this type of request?

I already emailed HDB and they want me to purchase the flat first and submit the contractor drawings....

IMO, it will never be allowed.

Image if it is allowed, ppl would be repositioning their main door in different location. It would look ugly from outside the block with doors at different location and facing different direction. Not to mention the structural integrity might be affected.

From what I know, u need to get HDB for their approval. But most likely very slim chances. All the best though!
