how to lay tiles with stripe

Hi,

i got 60x60 striped wood-grained tiles for living room and 90x15 striped wood-grained tiles for bed rooms.

How should the alignment be? The floor plan is very similar to the below gotten from srx.

The contractor is recommending laying the 60x60 tiles **** with the strips flowing flow the main door towards balcony. And for bedrooms 90x15 tiles to be layed along theclosed bedroom doors.

Any comments?

bedroom laying is correct. however, living room, it really depends on how u want the lines to make which area more striking. laying the lines that flow across the balcony will emphasize more on the big area in front of study

thks. I was wondering any Fengshui implication for stripes flowing from door inwards to balcony.
