Uninstall Gas Heater

Hi,

Have anyone tried to uninstall your City Gas Heater before ?

I am trying to uninstall it and all the related pipes as my Gas Heater give me water either too hot or too cold.

Anyone done it before ? Will City Gas remove the heater and all the related pipes for me so that I can install

a Electric Storage Tank heater for my common bath and kitchen ?
