Louver windows vs sliding windows

Hi,

I'm considering louver window for my living which faces the corridor. I know people think that its old fashion. But I like it because it give provides air circulation and a bit of privacy. Passer by cant look in when you open a little. Whereas sliding window, once open, passer by can look right in.

Besides old fashion, is there any disadvantage of louver window?

Louver window will easy to break the glass. Prefer you use sliding window. You can asking for tinted black glass.
