koala1971 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2016 Hi All My sink water pipe burst today and my lower kitchen cabinet is soaked with water. Later of the day I found that the kitchen cabinet door has "expanded" in size as water has sipped into it. Now the cabinet door can't close properly and leaving a gap. Please advise is there any reliable carpenter (not Interior designer please) that can recommend and help me replaced the cabinet doors (I do not wish to hack the entire cabinet as that would be very costly to me and furthermore the upper cabinet is still in good shape). The kitchen top and the drawers are still in good condition except the doors. Also, I would like to know which type of solid wood is recommendable for kitchen cabinet as I won't wish to experience another heart pain to replace it should such incident occur again. Thank for all kind feedback in advance.
