Any tips anyone? Oh yes storeberry. I'm excited but nervous at the same time as its my first, don't know what to expect.Maybe you are rite homeowner. Maybe I should start reading baby books. Any recommendations? There are so many titles in the stores. Don't know which is comprehensive yet interesting.Haha warderz..its juz quite overwhelming me now as my house still needs lots of things to be ready. If you've time, read a variety...'cos you'll find even experts may have differing opinions! Think happy thoughts, play music (one that you like) and sing from 6-7 mths onwards, rest well esp. in the first and third trimesters...and if your first is bad, look forward to the second 'cos usually the second trimester is okay and the best time to get all the baby stuff...third trimester, you'll tire easily and start waddling. applefreak 1 Report post Posted April 5, 2007 congrats! some suggestions for child proving your home includes1. child lock for appliances and cabinets2. no sharp corners e.g. kitchen cabinet, tables, consoles etc3. non-slippery flooring coz children like to run about4. wires not running on the floor coz toddlers will put everything into their mouth5. grilles are a MUST6. certain things should be at childrens' height e.g. a sink for them to wash handswill post if i can think of more Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
