warderz 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2007 HI PEOPLE!!! I'm back. Juz came back from my week long holiday. Tired but I guessed its a mental break from work that I truly deserved..hehe. Oh ya...about the mosaics. We decided to wait for the April stock to come so gonna do everything else as planned first then when the mosaics are here, ID will asked workers to do it. !! Just came back from viewing the reno progress. Quite happy to see most of the tiling works are almost done. But my mum asked me about the tiles in the kitchen. Me and hubby thought its no point having tiles behind the kitchen cabinet as no one can see them. However, my mum said lizards will tend to hide behind the cabinets if we did not do any tiles. Need all of u kind people here to shed some light on this. Should we have tiles behind the kitchen cabinet also?? What do u people think? I'm clueless. Why spend the extra cash when there is no need to do so? Anyway no one will be able to see the tiles behind the cabinet right?Just curious, when will the balcony be ready? Can't wait to KAYPOH and see how it will look like...
lynzi 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2007 Hmm...I thought so too.The tiling works for the balcony is ready but the furnishings for the balcony itself is not. Have not purchase the things lah...hehe
lynzi 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2007 After consulting people here and some of my frens, I decided not to spend more money on tiles behind the kitchen cabinet. Dat time was me having no stock of tiles, then its u having some things go wrong. Hopefully neither of us will have any mishaps again!
lynzi 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2007 Hi hi!! Been quite some time since i post any updates here. Been very busy helping my mum in law at her shop every day after work. Did not even have time to see the house so when I went on Sunday I was delightfully surprised. The only tile works left is the mosaics which have yet to arrive. Saw that the skeleton of my feature wall has been done. Will be meeting the electrician soon, either this week or next. Hope the electrical works won't cost me a bomb, especially after having to spend money repairing my car because of the accident.
