JustinDavidson 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2020 I hired 2 times different contractors to install windows and everything was done awful.all the Windows were scratched. so I had to look for a company that could remove the scratches, because I couldn't spend any more on new Windows. I found specialists from https://www.unscratchthesurface.com/portfolio/widespread-glass-restoration-resurfacing/. they did their job very carefully.so if you have any problems with the glass contact them. violetty 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) Pang Giap review. Take a look at my window grilles and iron gate from Peng Giap Update August 2017: I've removed all sharing feedback and actual pictures of window grills and iron gate by Pang Giap (PG). PG sent me a letter demanding me to remove the pictures and demanded payment from me to compensate for their loss in business and reputation with my previous sharing of photos of their products. I do not wish to have any more dealings with PG hence removing the pictures. There are other review of Pang Giap in this forum which was not written by me and hence unable to remove. Below is the extract invoice as mentioned above." ***No negative comments nor posting of their products pictures** Edited August 8, 2017 by violetty

Would like to get my house windows done. Thank you! Can get Andy's contact (Home Aluminium) thru : https://www.facebook.com/homealuminiummetalworks Just shared my experience in engaging Home Aluminium services: My mum wanted to install a new casement window at her 20 years old flat balcony. There was an old window grilles [cemented] in-place at the balcony. My mum plan to retain the old grilles (if possible) I have contacted 2 x Window contractors (1 of them is Andy). First contractor gave the quotation just for casement window and said can remove the old window grilles and install back (But did not highlights any possible dents or damages during knocking off the cements). I have contacted Andy on 12 Sep 2016 (Hari Raya PH) around 3pm, he came over around 6pm. Andy told my mum : "Auntie, your old grilles cannot install back because it is cemented and he can't promised his workers won't damaged the old grilles when removing." --- Although this sentence incurred more cost by changing new grilles BUT Andy gave his honest assessment. Then Andy quoted us a price for both (New casement window + New basic Window Grilles) with only $200 more than the First Contractor's quotation(includes re-install back old grilles). The balcony window width (left to right) is around 3m. In my thoughts, i do feel the pricing in this window industry (for same designs types) are competitive in SG. What consumers want are reliable, good workmanship and good service type of contractors. In our conversations, Andy shared with us some of his experiences and how to do basic maintenance for casement windows etc and he also mentioned that just need ard 2 hours to remove old grilles + install up both new grilles and casement windows and told my mum to "Fang Xin"(rest assured) on his workers' workmanship. So we signed up with Andy's Home Aluminium (And at that point, i just hope that the key stuffs mentioned in the conversation will fulfill) 8 days later on 20 Sep, the Home Aluminium 2 men team came at 2.15pm and completed all required works (including disposing the old grilles and clearing up) by 4.30pm. No complaints. All done up as promised! And my mum has a small request to replace 1 of the small hinges on a kitchen cupboard and the men did the hinge replacement in a few min without any fuss . Which is why all these led me to share this positive experience with the required details over here.
bmore80 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2016 hi - i used Andy from Home Aluminium to do up my window grilles and front gate. i live in sengkang and needed safety grilles with 2 inch gaps for my cats. no complaints as the work quality is good and the men who installed everything were polite when i came over. also when i had questions after the work was done, andy responded and even came over with advice. i was pleasantly surprised by that cos i tot some contractors may not give u the time of day once a job is done . - yati
