Designing Your Own Bto

Recommended Posts

Hi!

My fiancee and I will be picking up the keys to our BTO late 2016 (On plan its 3Q 2016), and we're starting to plan to renovate the place. We sorta thought of doing the 'design' ourselves, i.e., pick and choose from various sources (pictures etc) then incorporating it into our home.

Has anyone done this before? If so, could you please share how you started / did it, and things we should look out for?

Thank you!

Hi Cokie,

Me too! My fiance and I are currently collating all contractors/ID as well as selecting the essential appliances.

Our requirements for contractors

  • Quotations by contractor/ID must be detailed
  • Contractor/ID must be contactable, fast response. Do not wish to have someone who MIA after making promises.
  • Once selected, timeline must be produced before we placed a deposit
  • We will use another pad lock and provide the keys to our contractor.
  • We will carry out checks on every targeted due date.

You can visit the T-Blog section for more ideas!

HTH ^_^
