Hi, could you please PM me the cost of your caeserstone kitchen top (with dimensions) and blum pull out drawers? Thanks in advance!

Sorry for late reply as I didn't check. In for a whole. I paid $180 per foot run so that should be an easy gauge for you as the total cost depends I'm how big is your kitchen.  I used it for the kitchen cabinets as well as the sideboard .

Different designs also different cost :)

hi Vieracmx,

I spent about 47k for renovation excluding the furnishings and I think it is quite reasonable considering the cost of materials nowadays. Whether it is a run down flat or well kept flat, old flats full renovation is a must (unless it was recently renovated by previous owners), i had changed all electrical wiring and pipings which are the most crucial to me and the best part is you can really express your style with a full renovation. My suggestion is find a contractor who is experience in doing old flats renovation as their are limitations for somethings we want as the new BTO are much easier.

I will try to find my renovation quotation and PM you. Cheers and good luck

Congratulations on renovating your house.Since you live right in the city it is important that you know how to keep your house safe.Get window screens or a window film so that the burglars would have a hard time trying to break in.A well mounted cctv or a dome cam can help deter burglars by giving them a feeling that they are being watched. There are several smart alarms like a smartwatch that helps you get updated with the current safety status of your house and family members. Here is a blog from api alarm that mentions the benefits of getting a smart security alarm

Next week ( 1st week 2016)

installation of WC

measurement for countertop and vanity top.

ALMOST THERE!!

COUNTERTOP - KITCHEN
The intial design plan was to go with Kompacplus becuase we really like the slim woody colours. But lately, my taste has started to change and the more I stare at the Kompacplus top, the more I find it looking very uniform. Decided to check out quartz which is also highly favoured by fellow reno bloggers.

Visited Silestone and found some design which I liked. My kitchen cabinets are gloss white so that should be easy enough.

- Gloss Pulsar (white with grey & yellow line)

- Gloss Istmo - (grey with brown lines)

- Matt Doradus ( Black with goldish yellow lines)

Ding dong between decisions... I have reach a point where I am quite tired of choosing colours. Even for painting, when Contractor Desmond asked me to select colours and I just told him white la.
and he ws like "which white".. even white has like 10 whites to choose from.... :dunno:
