Sancai 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2015 Hi,Can anyone advise me on using wallpaper for kitchen. I need to revamp my old kitchen and to hack one side of the wall tiles. If I want to use wallpaper, I'm thinking to cement the wall and stick wallpaper on it. Anyone using wallpaper for yr kitchen can advise me.
DesignerJeff 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2015 Hi there Sancai,I've hacked away the tiles in my kitchen, but instead of wallpaper, I've painted the plastered walls. This allows me to change the look of my kitchen often...wallpaper is nice too, however, dependingon the heat and all the cooking, you're gonna find the paper starting to shrink and peel a bit over time.I'd be annoyed if I have to look at wallpaper with the seams showing and "dog ears" at the end, so Ifeel you'd be better off painting your plastered walls in the kitchen with a good easy to clean paint. It is so easy to clean a painted wall.Cheers, Jeff
