noir21 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2015 Hi All,I am sharing my bad experience and others who might have been affected by this errant renovation company.Dont fall prey as they will crush your dream home on top or the reno loan you need to pay.-They do not have any qualified designers but lift off designs from Facebook or google and claim as theirs.- Will force you for 100% payment and sweet talk. (I paid 95%)- Will tell you all kind of reasons till even grandma and grandpa died but no work done. (They reno my 4 rm hdb for 3 months and still have undone things)- Call contractors from newspaper/stickers/flyers on the spot to come and start work.- My friend was cheated of %80 payment and still nothing done past 2 months. Going through the process has been a real eye-opener for my husband and I. The short-listing process, the design process, the material selection process ... it really got quite tiring after a while. But thanks God for our ID - who also has real hands-on construction experience - who is helping us to achieve our dream home step-by-step. As I am still half-way in the process, I can't comment on the carpentry work. But if you are looking for a responsible and meticulous ID, I think you can give my ID a try. His tiling work stunned us ... I'm not sure how long it usually takes to complete the tiling process ... but ours took a good three to four days. I was really happy with the result when I saw how seamlessly the tiles were placed. We have just completed our ceiling and we are equally impressed! khengjoo 1 Report post Posted October 22, 2015 The fact is most ID firms are underfinanced with paid-up capital of $100k or lesser, and depend on the grace of their suppliers and contractors to extend credits to tide them over until they collect payment from customer after job completion.So during months of poor sales they will roll-over on the money owing to their creditors which of course do not bode well on goodwill with their suppliers, and that in turns affects work undertaken later.
