D Concept Design

Hi all,

We recently appointed "D Concept Design" To work on our new resale HDB. After paying deposit, the designer ( Genesis) seem to go MIA. When we go to their office at soon wing building. There is a creditor's notice on the front door. The boss, Kelvin doesn t seem to pick up his phone at all.

I am not sure if the company is still operational. If there are people out there with similar experience , do share. We can work together to find the culprits. Thanks.

Guess you are not alone. We have engaged "D Concept Design" recently for renovation work but after collecting the deposit he promise to deliver all the design drawing and due to his grandmother pass away, we even gave him sometime to settle his emotional feelngs unfortunately when it comes to our critical period he refuse answering our calls as well as whatsapp messages.

You are right the office in Soon Wing is no longer in operation and I believe the building management (Sheryl) is also looking for him. He seems aware of the loop holes in Singapore law when we escalated the issue to CASE as well as Small Claims Tribunal that we are able to seek any help from these (waste of time) organizations.

If you look at his D Concept Design face book, there is a message left by ROly POIy and believe they also engaged him for some kitchen work after collecting 90% of the deposit. We left them a message and hopefully they can come forward to meet with us.

Frankly speaking, I will not allow such "Day Time Robbery" to take away our "Hard Earn" money.

My wife and I recently engaged the services of D concept design thru a recommendation from a friend, as we had gotten our keys of our new flat during the 7th month so we wanted to wait till its over before starting our reno. We have made full payment for the reno package and we were waiting to see the 3d drawings and meet up with the boss Kelvin but he doesn't pick up or reply his messages from either or us but when I tried to call him he does pick up but he will keep on avoiding our questions and queries and he gave answers like he's busy at site or meeting with other clients or his schedule is fully packed till he can't even reply a simple message. We will be lodging a police report later as this is unacceptable. Taking hard earned money from people and we still have to pay for the loans but nothing is done.

Dear victims of D'concept design:
Please be advised to make a police report ASAP as we can escalate this to a fraud/Criminal breach of trust case.

Do pm me so that i can direct you straight to the investigation officer in charge.

The boss Kelvin Ang have irresponsibly and deliberately went MIA and have blocked all messages and calls.
