graphicj75 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2015 It been a tiring & fruitful journey for this BTO which i acquire 5 long years of waiting. Prices had gone up radically, i remember 10 years ago, my reno cost only $13,000. Now the cost of renovation easily cost $18,000 to 30,000. Inflation cost, etc. Thanks to the hardworking government, you know what i mean . To cut things short, I have gotten 4 to 5 quote and i had received reasonable quotes & super expensive quotes.I want to be straightforward, as meeting up ID is no joking matter as a lot of time & effort is wasted. In the end, i selected Nick from Renoguy as his quote is very reasonable & seem to have a lot of people commented on his workmanship is good. Actually i know Nick many years ago but we had lost touch while we are working many many years ago in a establishment when we were in our teens. I said Hey, let give a long lost friend a chance it alway better to work with the person that you knew.All in all, i find his services pretty good given the quote he given me which is very reasonable, btw i dont feelcomfortable sharing his quote to everyone so please refrain from asking me the quote that he given me. But i can assure that in the reno journey, you will definitely saved a lot .I want to give my honest opinion about his services, let put it this way, if you want something very different, you really had to inform him beforehand becoz he do things pretty fast. For me, i a bit artistic so sometimes my ideas clashes with him but in the end, we compromised. . Another tip, do not expect the ID to think of everything for you becoz in the end, it your house so u have to take responsible. .Finally my reno is done up and i must say i pretty proud of it & thks to Nick & Benny & most importantly myself as i been also pushing the ID to do a lot of things, no doubt we had our differences but we had worked it out Obviously for that price, cannot complain lah.
