smileyann 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2015 Hello everyone! Just joined this community! We got an unit in the SOBF exercise and we heard that the keys collection could be within 1 month's time!! Me and my fiance have so much work to do and I really need some advices from you guys. So a quick thanks in advance to those who is willing to help me out! My unit is (90sqm) with the previous choice of floor finish, grilles (if any), doors, bathroom tiles (Premium unit). Basically the toilet is done (without cabinet) which is what I want to add. This is my plans:I want a really simple and modern design, with the theme of black white and grey. For the living room, basically I don't need anything from the contractors other than the false ceiling and lightings and celing fan. Ohya, powerpoints as wellKitchen is gonna be a big one. Need to do cabinets (like the normal kitchens with all the normal stuffs) and hacking of partial wall to do like an "L" kind of shape so that we can done on the horizontal line of "L" and do some storage at the vertical line of "L".For the 3 bedrooms, I need build in wardrobe for 2 of them. And for the 2 bathrooms, I need cabinets and mirror storage box for them too. Master bedroom require a partition between the sink and the shower head.Painting for the whole house With this. Do you guys think it is possible to keep it within 11K (excluding the household electrical appliances)?Any ideas???
pDark 1 Report post Posted September 17, 2015 (edited) Hi smileyann welcome to renotalk There's a few reno fairs going on this week and next, so you might want to check them out. As for the cost, it would probably hit beyond 11k, based on your requirements (hacking, installing shower screen in toilet etc). Most of the quotations posted here so far (for 4 rm) are 25k+- on average. I did a rough estimate based on ericlee09's quotation... yours worked out to be about 15k as it stands. smileyann 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2015 Hi dPark. 15K sounds reasonable. I was trying to be stingy here. haha. ericlee09 had a quote that is similar to me? Is he a flat owner or a contractor?Hi smileyann welcome to renotalk There's a few reno fairs going on this week and next, so you might want to check them out.
