Renovation Journal (Daily) - Day 28

Apologies for the poor lighting. Went to take photo late at night after work. Partition walls are up for master bedroom, dining area false ceiling design completed and toilet box up plasterboard installed. The Distribution board also installed by the electrician.

Below is the floor plan i draw using a free program.

This is the space planning that i came up with.

Before wanted to have an island kitchen, but after much consideration, better to keep one spare room. If not my 4rm will become a 2rm hdb just that its bigger.

First idea

Final decision

Came across this reply from someone else,

(My Silgranite sink has been in two years now and I would do it again. I have the black.

Still, I don't think you can go wrong with a good heavy-gauge stainless steel sink. it comes down to what do you associate with a nice sink? When you envision a half hour peeling potatoes and carrots for a big pot of soup, where do you see yourself standing?

I had negative associations with stainless between my first job in fast food and it's what you see in hospitals and travel trailers (my grandparents would take us camping). So, stainless just didn't fit into my vision of a home kitchen. But again, that's my vision. What's yours?)

Somehow i felt the same way.

My contractor say black one no issue

White then dangerous that's why I gave up on my white one :P

Go ahead and get your gorgeous black sink!!
