Guest Shalini Shah Report post Posted September 8, 2015 help pls.i think i have been cheated. my kitchen counter top depth is only 17.5 inches or 58cm. Wen i stand at the stove, my head hits the hood and i cant imagine how i m going to be cooking in future.can someone share with their counter top measurement here pls.also there is no space between the cooking stove and the back wall. i remember having a space in my previous house..help please.. thank you Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
w7_lee 11 Report post Posted September 12, 2015 I share...Depth of my counter top is 23.5" (wall to front edge) but depth of my hob is 20.5".I have 1" space at the front & 2" space at the wall.But still, my head hit the hood when I stand at the stove. 2 reason:1) because I am tall2) if it's mounted too high, it would be too far to suck the fumes effectively Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
