Newbie need help again😁I came across in the net regarding customer need to pay more after sealing the deal due to some lacking of items/servicesAny advice care to share to avoid this mishap?Thinks to take note and lookout for? alantang 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2015 hi dba,most of the time will add abit. bcoz only at the actual side then the contractor will tell u there's an area or somethingthat needs to cover up, u can only see at ur actual house. but its all up to u. on floor plan cannot see the edges..i also pay a little more to cover my edges...a few hundred only la. haha. pDark 1 Report post Posted August 2, 2015 Hello again!To avoid big shocks... Avoid signing packages. For eg if you saw jimmya's quotation he probably would not get a shock. It's easier to discuss what to include and exclude. During the quotation meetup with id always ask if there's anything missing. A good id would suggest to you additional items you can consider. It's still best to trash out everything before signing the deal!After signing, some additions would be the electrical works, and likely some unforeseen measurements, which can instead decrease cost if some areas did not use as much materials as expected.
