Kids , Pets And Carpet Vacuuming- Need Advice !

Hi I'm new in here. Not been a very online kind of person but here I'm to ask something or maybe conduct a discussion. I'm married and stay with my wife, 2 YO Kid and pet dog. How safe is the floor for my daughter? She gets along quite well with our dog and that is also what scares me. How often should we clean the carpets ? Right now we do it like once a month or something. I use the Vacuum systems from Vacmaster ( REMOVED ) and am also eligible for the support and services from them. I want to know if you guys have a pet dog and a 2 YO in the same house, how often would you give your carpets a cleanup?
