Need Advice And Recommendation For Waterproofing Leakage Problem

Hi guys,

I have been staying in this condo for 3 years and was informed last week by the mcst that the unit below is experiencing leakage from their ceiling and they brought a contractor to view my toilet and suggested us to hack and redo the existing waterproofing. The problem is my toilet is still in very nice and good condition and it will be a waste to hack the tiles.

Any suggestion on what should i do and any contacts for waterproofing contractor?

Hi Travion.

For this kind of scenario I'm afraid you don't have much of a choice. Most likely the previous water proofing was not done properly.

The only long term solution is to hack the tiles and redo it to save the troubles in the future. Other then that all other ways will only create more troubles in the future,

Its better to just get it over and done with.
