Ahyong81 3 Report post Posted October 18, 2015 Lol yes my id told me that also. Haha. I visit their booth at expo. They giving offer at 6.50 psf. Lol.. cause i think those people never hired id or contractor. They just want to replace their flooring. Btw the evorich flooring is lay and installed by their own worker. Not by the id or contractor worker.

Contractor < $6/sqft can do. Lol.I did mine HERF at about $5 plus psf but not from Evorich. I did go directly to Evorich at their HQ. Their so called discount promo price is still not enticing to me. So my ID recommended another and ask me to deal direct. In the end, made a pretty huge savings due to area I have. I even had a wall layed with the HERF.So far the flooring is serving me well too. bykaraanne 30 Report post Posted October 18, 2015 Some people like Quartz designs, some hate it to the core. Haha. I know of friends who really dislike Quartz designs... I hate that it's always dots and bits and not streaks like real marble... And the designs always Dalmatian pattern one.Solid top designs are much more natural. If want really like marble really only Caesarstone and Silestone can create the effect...It's subjective la. That's why I don't like to tell people what things "good" and what things "bad". Cus after all we each have different preferences and different vision...
bykaraanne 30 Report post Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) LH Quartz choices (special range, might be higher in price)Solid top What I wantThe solid top still looks the closest... Edited October 18, 2015 by bykaraanne

Peachydurians 2 Report post Posted October 18, 2015 Paging for PeachyDurians... 你最了解我了... Can give me a rational opinion. Hii darling, I'm at ikea tampines now! Which I've come to associate with you haha. Babesy, here's my honest take: when it comes down to it you're someone who values quality and design over price. So even if you find a cheaper offer and go for it, you need to like it, otherwise I imagine you'll stare at the installed piece daily and eyeball every flaw you discover :Pp I think you and the renotalk community have done impressive research and knowledge sharing; methinks it's sufficient? So... Discuss with your hubby a price you're both comfortable paying, then get the best that budget can buy. Some humble pennies of thought! <3 home is also very much about the people who love you, of whom I'm sure are many jiayou dear

We always miss each other on our IKEA outings. Haha!To be honest, quality wise + looks wise, the solid top lives up to its name and price. The LH Quartz were a whopping $180pfr. And we don't LOVE the slabs. But that's a good tip.. We should probably set a budget for it and get the best price. >.<Thanks for the input.
Peachydurians 2 Report post Posted October 18, 2015 Haha tbh, the pricing discussions were floating above my head. But from all that's been going on it seems like solid top is what you're leaning towards? And since you take care of your stuf, I reckon you'll be able to maintain what you choose. But from all that's been going on it seems like solid top is what you're leaning towards? And since you take care of your stuf, I reckon you'll be able to maintain what you choose.Hahahaha! I know right? I am confused now, too.Apparently the normal iQuartz / LH models can be gotten at $110 - $130pfr. I was quoted $220pfr by their direct sales rep though, for iQuartz, and quoted at least $180pfr for the LH marble-like models.Solid top is $90pfr now, I am double confirming the price with drop profile and backsplash.Silestone was at $197pfr and Caesarstone $250pfr last I checked. It all seems crazy to me! That my tiny 3R kitchen has a countertop that is costing so much more money than so many other things in my house. And I only have 13ft worth!
