We had the same encounter, its an popular contractor sommor.

Boss is Jxxxx who are more fluent in Mandarin, Assistant is Exxxxx who handle English speaking clients.

Promised to give quote in 3 days time, waited 1 week no update and sent whatsapp enquiry as natively thought delayed due to busy schedule since they are so popular in Renotalk.

1st whatsapp enquiry no response, after few days sent a more direct enquiry if still keen to quote and finally got a apologetic reply promising to quote.

Ultimately no quotation and so we realized that a 20-30k worth renov is not worth their time.
